FAQ

This is your FAQ Page, offering an excellent opportunity to equip you with essential information about the pre and post-treatment care for your newly designed eyebrows. We encourage you to thoroughly read through this FAQ multiple times to ensure you are well-prepared for your upcoming treatment. Understanding these guidelines will contribute to the best possible results and a delightful eyebrow enhancement experience.

MICROBLADING PRE-CARE

• Avoid working out 24 hours before the procedure.

• Refrain from consuming alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before the procedure (caffeine is also present in decaf coffee and tea).

• Stay away from sun exposure and tanning one week prior to the procedure.

• Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before the procedure.

• If you usually don't receive injectables, avoid Botox and filler in the forehead, temple, and eye area for at least 1 month before the procedure.

• Do not undergo brow waxing, tinting, or threading before the procedure.

Please Note: During your menstrual cycle, you may experience increased sensitivity.

MICROBLADING POST-CARE

• Keep the brow area clean by using a natural fragrance-free gel cleanser and water. Ensure that your hands are freshly cleaned. Avoid using abrasive washcloths or sponges.

• After cleaning, allow your eyebrows to completely air dry before applying the provided aftercare ointment using a Q-Tip.

• DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally fall off. Picking can lead to scarring and pigment loss.

• COMPLETELY avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure. Direct sunlight can alter the pigment's color during the healing process and may cause hyperpigmentation and scarring.

• Avoid swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and hot baths for 3 weeks.

• Refrain from sweating for a full 10 days. This includes any physical effort, gym workouts, hot weather, or any other activity that may cause sweating on or around the brows, as it can expel pigment from the dermis and result in poor outcomes.

• Avoid sleeping on your face/brows for the first 10 days to prevent unnecessary pressure on the treated area.

Healing Process and Aftercare Responsibility

It's crucial to emphasize that the healing process and aftercare of any procedure is a shared responsibility between the technician and the client. While the technician ensures the treatment is conducted professionally and skillfully, the successful outcome heavily relies on the client's adherence to pre and post-procedure care instructions.

In order to achieve the best results, it is essential that clients diligently follow the provided pre and aftercare guidelines. Failure to do so may compromise the effectiveness and longevity of the procedure. As a result, complimentary touch-ups cannot be offered if the recommended care instructions have not been followed.

Remember, open communication between the technician and the client is key to address any concerns or questions regarding the healing process and aftercare. By working together, we can ensure a positive and successful experience for everyone involved.
